Åkerman book.

Me and my friend are collecting old pictures and information about Åkerman history. If you have any kind information about company, machines, stories or old photos, we would love to hear from you.
Our goal is to get book ready (printed) before end of this year.

We have now almost two thousand photos from USA, Sweden, Finland, Russia (Soviet Union) I think these pics are most interested.... etc. etc. Also we got almost 2500 scanned document... so I think we have more than enough material... BIG thanks to Volvo CE Sweden and Swecon employees too....

Yes.

Most interesting are pictures from start of 1900's...Old black&white pics. Yesterday interview people who worked in Soviet Union, as service technician... It was easier to get Soviet Union... sometimes it was difficult to get back.... And those Åkermans Kostamus service cars....

Anyway, project should be done and printed october-november (latest).

Finally book is ready. 200 page, 375 photos, company history from 1890 to till end... Also Finnish Jussi-machines history starting from 1940's, plus Åkermans Finnish subsidiary company Oy Jussi-Åkerman Ab history, and lot of photos. In the end of the book is small "extra thing".
