As predicted, ......... 6lbs 12oz (3.15kg) of baby girl arrived at 05.10 this morning - 5 min.s later than her mother apparently !!
Would've been weird if she'd arrived 5 min.s earlier, eh!!!!!

Both are doing fine, but I imagine Vicki's knackered after a 13 hour labour !!!!

Retirement's never gonna be the same again !!!!

......... Mrs D's been 'waiting' for months now, to become ............ a granny.

My congratulations to Mrs D and also to the Mother
We (me and Mrs M) became grandparents end of september. Strange feeling that is!!! Our "little" boy being a father!!!

Fair comment Mag - 'tis about me I suppose!

Vicki (Mrs D's daughter) is almost thirty and I have difficulty remembering that at times - she was 13 when I first met her!!

I don't have any children of my own (fortunately, as it transpired, with my hereditary Gaucher's disease) but Pam's two might as well be mine.
Their father has lived abroad most of their lives, since 'he went' and it's always been me they turn to, 99% of the time!

They're both now married and now Vicki's a mum too
Just do not know where the time has gone though

Oh and congrat.s to you too Boyo you will have had a little practice, by now then!
Babies have never been 'my thing' ........ never spent any time around them

Well, don´t need to THE Father to be a good father! Sounds like you´ve done your bit quite well then, being there when needed! In my world THAT is what counts in the long run!

But this time I can pass her back when she´s cryin´ or worse

Both good kids, both have chosen well in their partners (in my eyes at least) and both have achieved well in their chosen 'paths' ... I'm proud enough of 'em, mine or not !!
